Our thermoreflective coating helps ETFE foils block up to 45% of infrared (IR) rays significantly reducing heat absorption, while still allowing 85% of UV light to penetrate - enhancing photosynthesis.

Thermodynamic Architecture

Our three-layered ETFE design is designed to filter 78% of IR rays from reaching the plants. With a drivable system ensuring both energy and light efficiency, the thermoresponsive architecture keeps plants continuously in an optimal microclimate — ensuring maximum crop yields.

Smart Control

Developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute, our Smart Control System utilizes a real-time 3D twin to continuously monitor and adjust greenhouse conditions proactively.

THE BREAKTHROUGH OF THERMOREFLECTIVE 3-CLIMATES ETFE FOIL

At the heart of our greenhouse technology is our proprietary ETFE foil, enhanced with an advanced thermoreflective coating - developed in collaboration with the Center for Applied Energy Research (CAE), Germany.  This specialized coating represents years of applied research and engineering refinement.

At the same time, it achieves 91 % light transmission, outperforming glass while still filtering unwanted infrared heat and preserving the full photosynthetic spectrum. 

Unlike conventional polyethylene (PE) films — which degrade under UV exposure and require replacement every 1 to 5 years — our coated ETFE foil delivers an exceptional lifespan of over 20 years, ensuring long-term performance, optical clarity, and sustainability.

 
 

 

 

3 CLIMATES DESIGN
AND SMART CONTROL

Our 3-Climates ETFE Foil is engineered with a three-layer thermal architecture that automatically creates and balances three independent climate zones within the greenhouse.
It reflects up to 78 % of incoming heat, maintaining ideal growing conditions
while lowering cooling energy demand.

  • TOP LAYER
    89% of the full light spectrum penetrates the greenhouse, with only 55% of IR radiation passing through.
  • MIDDLE LAYER
    The 3-C Foil reflects IR rays once again, reinforcing the effect of the top layer. This keeps the greenhouse cool while allowing photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) to pass through, enhancing photosynthesis.
  • BOTTOM LAYER
    During peak sun exposure, this layer activates as additional insulation, blocking over 78% of IR rays, allowing only 22% to pass through, while still permitting PAR to promote plant growth. This also helps protect leaf temperature and healthy growth.

SMART CONTROL SYSTEM

Advanced sensors continuously monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, light intensity, and humidity. The system utilizes the digital twin to analyze this data in real-time, enabling automatic adjustments to each ETFE layer proactively. This ensures that optimal conditions are maintained before any adverse changes occur, maximizing energy efficiency, enhancing crop yields, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

SOLAGROW DESIGN
AND MOVABLE PV CONTROL

Our SOLAGROW system ombines movable bifacial PV modules with a thermoreflective ETFE roof to balance sunlight, shade, and energy production in real time. The panels track the sun, generating clean electricity for cooling and automation while ensuring optimal light for plant growth — creating a perfectly balanced climate, even under extreme conditions.

  • SUN MODE
    When solar radiation peaks, the PV modules tilt to create shade and harvest maximum energy. This reduces heat inside the greenhouse and powers all cooling systems directly from the sun.
  • CLOUD MODE
    On cloudy or cooler days, the panels open wider to allow more light to reach the plants — ensuring continuous growth and photosynthesis, even with reduced sunlight.
  • BALANCE MODE
    Throughout the day, AI-driven control continuously adjusts each module’s position to maintain the ideal balance between energy production and plant illumination. The result: energy self-sufficiency, stable temperatures, and a consistent light environment for year-round cultivation.
